Our pub has long been a favourite with equine fans, thanks to our fantastic position close to both Ascot and Windsor. Enjoy a day at the races at Ascot, take in a tournament of the ancient game of Polo at the Royal County of Berkshire Polo Club, or book a break to watch the annual Royal Windsor Horse Show.
If you're not a horse enthusiast, then we have many other yearly events close by, so you can make a weekend of it at The Winning Post. Sport and socialising are top of the bill at the Henley Royal Regatta each Summer, or take to the green at the wonderful Wentworth Club, in neighbouring Surrey, for the PGA Championships.
Children and adults alike will have plenty to do from here too, with exciting and educational Legoland in Windsor and the thrilling Thorpe Park theme park in nearby Surrey. A trip to Windsor Castle is also a fantastic family day out, with history, art and grounds to explore.
The Winning Post is also in a great location for stopovers for early flights from Heathrow, or for business meetings with colleagues who are flying in to the international airport.
